1780. Paris. Plan manuscrit. Circa 1780, handwritten plan 36 x 49 cm, in ink, names of owners on each plot and building (one margin slightly scratched). Late 18th-century copy traced on the verso of a double manuscript sheet of the "Etat de la Caisse de l'hôpital général" dated September 10, 1763. The Hotel de Choiseul belonged to Countess Choiseul-Beaupré and opened onto rue Saint-Augustin. In 1776, the Countess had obtained the construction of a cul-de-sac from the Boulevard des Italiens. The street was created as an extension of this in 1779. (Joursanvault 1137).
